Change of Mind Returns
If you change your mind about your order, you may return the item within 14 days of delivery by notifying us in writing, with some exceptions (see below). We will ask you to provide a photo showing that the item is brand-new, unopened, and in its original packaging. Once confirmed, we will arrange for a carrier to collect the goods for return.
A change of mind can include, but is not limited to, the following situations:
• You chose the wrong colour, size, or product
• You find the item unsuitable for your needs
• You don’t like the product
• Your personal opinion is that the quality is not as expected
• Delivery was delayed or arrived after the estimated date
Please note that if the original packaging is missing or the item has been opened or used, we cannot accept the return. Outbound shipping costs are non-refundable, and the cost of return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. We do not take responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit during the return process, and we recommend retaining proof of lodgement and purchasing transit cover where appropriate.
Exceptions: The following items cannot be returned due to change of mind:
• Furniture that has been assembled, partially assembled, or disassembled.
• Health and Beauty products, including items like baby wipes, diapers, creams, etc.
• Products sold in vacuum-sealed or blister packs (even if unopened).
• Bedding items such as sheets, quilts, mattress toppers, and mattresses.
If you cannot provide a photo showing that the item is in brand-new, unused condition, we will be unable to accept the return.
Returns that show signs of use, are incomplete, or are not in the original packaging will not be eligible for a refund.
Once we receive and verify your return, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. Please note that a 20% restocking fee applies.
Important: Returns must be handled through our designated carrier. We do not accept returns dropped off at our warehouse or sent via other carriers.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping for change-of-mind returns. Items must be returned in their original packaging, in brand-new condition, and include all manuals, documentation, and accessories. If the item has been used, assembled, or the packaging discarded, we cannot accept the return.
The information on our website is for general information purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate product information, customers are responsible for ensuring the product is suitable for their needs.
Colour and Design Variations
Despite every effort to provide accurate images, actual colours and designs may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting, and product finishes. Appleby & Co is not responsible for slight colour or design variations that are not factory faults. By purchasing from Appleby & Co, you accept that slight variations between actual products and website images may occur.
Faulty or Damaged Products
If your item arrives damaged or is not functioning (Dead on Arrival), please contact our customer service team within 10 days of delivery. You will be asked to provide photos or video to show the issue. In the case of missing parts, you will need to identify them from the assembly guide or user manual.
We will assist you with troubleshooting, provide replacement parts where possible, or, if necessary, offer a replacement product. If a replacement is not available due to stock limitations, a store credit may be offered.
For returns, we will provide a return label (for items that can be sent by post) or arrange courier collection. Items must be properly packaged for return shipping. If the original packaging is unavailable, you may source an alternative. We will need the package dimensions and weight to book the collection.
Manufacturer Warranties
Many of our products come with a manufacturer’s warranty ranging from 3 to 12 months. Electronic devices typically carry a 90-day warranty. Please note, manufacturer warranties do not cover rust, mould, or damage from weather conditions.
